betvirus Will Real Madrid win the Champions League 3 Years in a Row?

The odds are stacked against Liverpool as they head to Kiev to play in the Champions League Final against Real Madrid on the 26th May 2018. Real Madrid are looking to win the trophy for the third year running. This is an unbelievable feat!! If you believe Los Blancos can win the Champions League and would like to put your money where your mouth is, placing some cash on the outcome of any or all of the games can bring in some decent winnings. If you're not sure where to start or are afraid of getting into something that can be tricky at time, have a look at sites that offer Free bets offers to get yourself started, with no risk to your hard-earned cash. It is hard enough winning the competition once, but if Madrid manage to come through this challenge and win the match they will be the first side to win the Champions League 3 years in a row since 1976 when Bayern Munich bagged the title a hattrick of times. Madrid have won the competition a record twelve time.

Liverpool on the other hand will come into the tie as the under dogs, however this title will most definitely suit them. The Reds seem to thrive when they come into a challenge with their backs against the wall, there is no better example of this then that famous night in Istanbul in 2005 when they overcame the favourites on the night AC Milan.

Goals Galore

One thing is for certain, there will be goals! Liverpool have been goal scoring machines in this years’ campaign and have managed to find the back of the net on 33 occasions. The obvious 3 names that come to mind as Liverpool’s biggest threat are of course the tremendous trio of Sadio Mane (9 goals), Roberto Firminio (10 goals) and Mohammed Salah (10 goals) who seem to be scoring goals for fun in all competitions this year.

Real Madrid have not been too shy on goals this campaign themselves, notching up an impressive 30 goals and it is no surprise that Cristiano Ronaldo has been the chief destroyer with 15 of those goals. Ronaldo is now the competitions’ all-time leading goal scorer with 120 goals, and there is no doubt he will be looking to add an extra few goals to that list come the 26th May.

Both sides have leaky defences and that will most certainly add to the entertainment on the night. Klopp will no doubt be encouraging his players to play on the front foot and attack Madrid at all times and this will most certainly leave them vulnerable to Real Madrid pacey and skilful players.

This year we have witnessed some epic encounters where Roma came from 3 goals down to overcome the mighty Barcelona, we saw Juventus give Real Madrid a run for their money and if it wasn’t for a last second controversial penalty call by Michael Oliver the outcome of that game could have been completely different, and lest we forget Liverpool destroying Man City in the Quarter Finals stage. If the final can live up to the hype of the knock out rounds then we are in for one hell of a match!
