We are already April 9th and Champions League battle has reached the Quarter Finals phase. Eight teams are left to claim the big football trophy for this year 2018-19. Of course the remaining teams are the best of the best for European football at this time. The four pairs of quarter-finals are: Ajax-Juventus, Liverpool-Porto, Tottenham-Manchester City, Manchester United-Barcelona. Every prediction is risky but we believe that the most likely to continue for the semifinals are Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona.

Below you will find an statistical analysis of the participants in the Champions League Quarter-finals in the last seven seasons starting in 2012-13 and last this year 2018-19. As you will see 22 teams from 8 different countries had the honor of participating in this advanced stage of the competition.

Another interesting point is that Barcelona with 7/7 entries managed to overtake Real Madrid this year since the top team of the C.L. failed to continue in “8”. Keep an eye also on Spain’s over time success (in the countries table) with 19 total entries from four different clubs in the last seven years (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla).
